With the SinGold whisky cask sale, connoisseurs can now slip into the role of a master blender Wehringen/Augsburg. Lovers of fine spirits can now create their own whisky with SinGold Whisky. To this end, the distillery offers the purchase of individually assembled whole whisky casks. The size of the cask, the grain from which the whisky is distilled and how long it is stored – these are just some of the details that the buyer decides for himself.
Whisky fans can slip into the role of a real master blender.
Barrels with a capacity of between five and 250 liters and with six different pre-fillings are available for putting together your own whisky. Single malt peated or unpeated, corn or grain – the choice of grain recipe is also up to the future whisky owner. This also determines the storage period – anything is possible from three years. On the website www.singold-whisky.de, interested parties can click through a clear configurator and try out which options are most attractive to them.
In addition, five ready-made barrel packages are available, which have been put together by the owner and master distiller Hans-Jürgen Filp.
Experience the creation and maturation of whisky on site
The smallest barrels contain five liters and are available from 349 euros. They are prepared at SinGold Whisky and can then be collected and stored at the buyer’s home. The largest barrels contain up to 250 liters and remain in the distillery’s warehouse until bottling. If this is too much for you, you also have the option of purchasing shares in barrels. Buyers of a share also put together their own whisky and then buy 25, 50 or 75 percent of the cask contents. The rest remains with SinGold Whisky.
“When making whisky, every drop and every cask has its very own fascination. I want to share this with my customers,” explains Hans-Jürgen Filp. In his distillery, he brings the world of whisky to life for fans, enthusiasts and connoisseurs. Visitors can look over the shoulder of the Master Distiller in Wehringen, for example, during a distillery workshop and help out themselves or prepare for the creation of their whisky by tasting the various recipes. During storage, cask owners can also visit the distillery to see their whisky and experience how the taste of their peated single malt, for example, develops as it matures in the former sherry cask.
New SinGold whisky distillery opens in November 2017
Hans-Jürgen Filp fulfilled his dream of his own whisky, named after the Singold river in his Swabian homeland, back in 2012. Since then, he has been distilling single malts and other fine brandies for discerning whisky lovers. In addition, he also offers outstanding Scotch whisky as an independent bottler under the SinGold brand.
The new SinGold whisky distillery in Wehringen near Augsburg opens in November 2017. You can already create and order your own whisky on the website. The distillery will become part of a meeting place for gourmets and connoisseurs, where visitors will also find a restaurant with an open show kitchen, a roastery for coffee lovers and cigars from faraway countries such as Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
