Hardly any other spirit is as shrouded in legend as absinthe. Great poets and artists loved this drink as a muse for art and rumors of its hallucinatory effects are still widespread.
The 4-times distilled absinthe from Wehringen is made from eight special ingredients.
Wormwood, aniseed and fennel refined with lemon balm, hyssop herb, licorice root, mint and lemon result in the classic taste and naturally produced color.
We recommend the French way of drinking, with a spoonful of sugar cubes held over the absinthe. Add drops of ice water on top so that the sugar is absorbed and combined with the absinthe.
